Stephens is an apoplogist for the current administration — that’s what i’m thinking. Am i wrong about that? he’s essentially trying to show that the Times is not totally hostile to Trump’s war of choice in the middle east; of course, if a democrat did this, Stephens — and the times — would be hostile to them.

Dem ’28 dream ticket: Joe Manchin and Dianne Feinstein (technically she’s still eligible). He provides the youthful charisma that the millennials can’t resist; she gives the slate gravitas and gender balance.

Dear Professor Robins (sic)
Ye Who Enter, your book proposal for a dystopian novel although frightening and horrific in its zeitgeist seems much too implausible and heavy handed to be published. In particular:
– The irony of the Jewish Joseph Goebbels character being named Miller, with its invocation of the mills of the gods is too on the nose.
-The Russian asset American president with his fecal body odor, symbolizing his bovine fecal speech and social media posting, again, too over the top.
– The South African illegal immigrant whose name reflects his fungal preservation of the Apartheid regime he intends to recreate, and the acronym for the program he ran to let slip the Doges of war. Again. Please? Although we did love “Rapid Unscheduled Disassembly.”There is definitely some salvageable material, but please don’t strike but temper your irony.
