Alan Dershowitz Wants You!

Alan Dershowitz tells theĀ Jerusalem Post that he’s thinking of becoming an Israeli citizen. He wants to send a message to supporters of BDS that “if you’re boycotting Israel, you’re boycotting me.”

Is this supposed to be a deterrent? Or an incentive?

I asked Freddie deBoer to turn it into a recruiting poster; he kindly obliged.

so what then is BDS? not all of us know. we may have been pointed here by an exterior link. how effective should this recruitment poster actually be?

Funny. I suspect Dersh would like it. Someone should send it to him for comment.

If he follows through, will Dersh be quitting the U.S.? Or maybe he will get the coveted dual citizenship.

Worth disseminating, especially as the author is being airbrushed out of existence on the usual “Liberal” avenues such as NY Times, Fresh Air, etc. which showered him with praise a few years ago for taking on the Right:

There are many Israelis who are taking part in supporting the BDS movement, even in the Occupied Territories there are many Israelis who boycott the Zionist government. So, even of Alan (the Jewish extremists) became in Israeli citizen. He wont be escaping the BDS movement.

So, if I boycott Alan Dershowitz, who’s left to go to when I want torture apologetics? Will I have to break down and read the Washington Post’s editorial page?

Since Dershowitz wants to emigrate to Israel and Mordechai Vanunu wants to leave, maybe a trade can be worked out.

Vanunu should have been freed a long time ago.
And I, for one, would not miss Dershowitz.

Not sure yet what I think about BDS, but this IS an argument in its favor.
