I finally saw Triumph of the Will last night. Man, they knew how to make movies in those days. Will these videos really match up?

“If he can run his household, he can run the country. Amen!”

The old Republican mantra was that a candidate should have “met a paycheck” experience by running a successful business.

Now they seem to be lowering bar to having run a successful household.

Well, for everyone who ever wondered what American fascism might look like, we now know.

Oikos… Greek word for “household”… It’s the root word for “economy” “economical” as well as “ecology” and “ecological”… No?

Perhaps he can “run a household”, perhaps not… What do his wife, children…neighbors have to say? Perhaps it is a valid argument… Or, perhaps not… Principles of running a single household may not scale to a town, state, republic/nation, or world…eh?
