From Bloomberg.com:
The smaller bonus checks that hit accounts across the financial-services industry this month are making it difficult to maintain the lifestyles that Wall Street workers expect, according to interviews with bankers and their accountants, therapists, advisers and headhunters.
“People who don’t have money don’t understand the stress,” said Alan Dlugash, a partner at accounting firm Marks Paneth & Shron LLP in New York who specializes in financial planning for the wealthy. “Could you imagine what it’s like to say I got three kids in private school, I have to think about pulling them out? How do you do that?”
Nope, I can’t imagine it.
Maybe these guys could:
Or maybe this guy.

Haha…thanks for the laugh. I have three children and make around 8% of what Alan makes. Only one of my children is in a private school. I suppose it is because we receive food stamps that Alan has a smaller bonus. Sorry, Alan. So Sorry.
Aside, I think Doug Henwood argues the Beatles somewhat subliminally support the bourgeois….or was it Bob Dylan?
Francis
Actually, not so subliminally. To be a singer who doesn’t support the bourgeoisie, you have to be at least a Woody (not Arlo) Guthrie or Pete Seeger.
Or maybe these guys.
