Etta James has died, so I’ve been listening to some of her music. Perhaps you’d like to, too. This is one of my favorites, though there are so many.

Etta was an anchor of sorts in my life. Whenever I got the blues, Etta always lifted my spirits.

At a loss for words with her passing… just enjoying her music today. torn between “I’d rather go blind” and “losers weepers”. Although “Roll with me, Henry” takes me way back to early teen memories, 45s and crazy days .
